2. SCH&GS Oral History Project
In 2003, the Society conducted a series of interviews of Simpson County residents from a variety of backgrounds as part of the
Mississippi Oral History Project. Funded by the Mississippi Humanities Council, the collection of 31 interviews is housed
at the University of Southern Mississippi Center for Oral History and Cultural Heritage.
28 of the 31 interview transcripts are available for download below for research and educational purposes.
